How I become a teacher Spanish in Cardiff
My name is Olga, a bubbly Spanish teacher from Valencia, at the middle East of Spain. My job there, was a graphic designer so I use those skills to create more attractive material and being more creative doing the classes.
I came to UK twelve years ago, I live in Cardiff, place that I love and where I know a lot of lovely friends which I consider as my family.

I fell in love with teaching Spanish when a friend approached me with a special request. There was a lovely family planning to relocate to Spain, and they were eager to learn as much Spanish as possible. My friend asked if I knew anyone who could help them, and it dawned on me - why not me? I took up the challenge and quickly realized how much I enjoyed it. I even went out and bought toys and materials to make my Spanish classes engaging and fun for them. It was amazing to witness how well they grasped the language before embarking on their journey to Spain.
Sometime later, I found myself teaching a group of fifteen adults in a cozy coffee shop. To enhance their learning experience, I created handouts and resources that they could use during our classes. It was such a rewarding experience that I decided to make teaching Spanish my full-time job. That's when I established my own company called Els parotets de Olga. The name, which means dragonflies in Valencian, holds a special place in my heart as it embodies the values I cherish.
With six years of experience teaching both children and adults in person, I have discovered my true passion. When the pandemic hit, I had to adapt and started offering online Spanish classes. To my surprise, I found numerous advantages to this new format. Now, children can join my classes from the comfort of their own living rooms, no matter where they are in the world.
